In order to further improve the quality of our PEEK products and better meet the special application needs of customers in various industries, our company has established a 280-square-meter Class 100,000 clean workshop in strict accordance with GMP standards, and is equipped with a Class 100 purification and cleaning area. At present, the clean workshop has been completed and decorated, and will be officially put into use after passing the GMP certification test of Changzhou Food and Drug Administration in mid-June.

Clean workshop is also called dust-free workshop , clean room, or clean room . It refers to a specially designed room that removes pollutants such as particles, harmful air, and bacteria from the air within a certain space, and controls the indoor temperature, cleanliness, indoor pressure, air flow speed and distribution , noise, vibration, lighting, and static electricity within a certain required range. In other words, no matter how the external air conditions change, the room can maintain the cleanliness, temperature, humidity, and pressure characteristics originally set.

At present, our company plans to place the following equipment production lines in the clean workshop: PEEK medical catheter extrusion line, 3D printing filament extrusion line, PEEK parts assembly, cleaning and packaging processes for precision analysis and optical fields. In the future, special injection molding machines for medical PEEK and PPSU parts will also be configured.

Cleanrooms can effectively control the number of dust particles, temperature, humidity, pressure and other production environment factors in the workshop for a long time. Therefore, they are particularly suitable for producing some products that have strict requirements on the production environment and extremely high product precision. Such as medical catheters, medical profile products, analytical instrument catheters, connectors, 3D printing filaments and special plastic products such as PEEK and PPSU used in the food production industry. The certification and commissioning of cleanrooms will definitely further improve the quality of our PEEK products, especially to meet the mandatory requirements of food, medical and even implant-grade PEEK products in production environment regulations.
